We believe the Bible is God's infallible, verbally inspired Word and is our supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16).
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man (Luke 1:35; Isaiah 7:14).
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God, and that he is a sinner in thought, word, and deed (Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:18-19).
We believe that part of God's creation of man in his image was as male and female. This is demonstrated in harmonious interpersonal relationships, in equality in personhood and importance, and difference in role and authority, seen in the divine institution of marriage, designed as a lifetime union between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:6; Galatians 3:27-28; Genesis 3:16; Ephesians 5:22-24; Colossians 3:18-19)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died as the substitutionary sacrifice for our sins. All who believe in His death, burial, and resurrection are justified on the basis of His shed blood and are born again of the Holy Spirit (1 Peter 2:24; John 3:16; Romans 10:9).
