CLEP
What is CLEP? CLEP stands for College-Level Examination Program. Students who take tests in the various subject areas (see list below) and receive a passing score (50 or better) can receive general education credits, being awarded 3-6 credits, or even more per exam!
Grace Academy is privileged to offer these exams as we are one of only a handful of high schools in the country that are allowed to offer the CLEP. We also consider it a great advantage to our students to take these exams. CLEP exams allow our secondary students to receive college credits and still benefit from a fully Christian education as well as enjoy their high school experience. Having received general education credits can also shorten their college years resulting in the potential savings of thousands of dollars in college tuition.
To learn more about CLEP, please go to the College Board website at: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/clep/about.html,
or simply call Grace Academy or email fhackbarth@graceacademy.net for information or to schedule your examination session.

Prior to scheduling an appointment for a CLEP examination, students should contact their potential college or academic advisor to confirm their acceptance of CLEP credits, and to determine the appropriate examination, in the various subject areas, particularly the English exams and whether they require the English essay.
