Phyllis Rice, Teacher
Biographical Information
Phyllis Rice graduated from Bob Jones University with a BS degree in Speech Education in 1971 and with a MA degree in Dramatic Productions in 1976. During her teaching career she has held numerious teaching and supervisory positions in Christian schools and colleges. For a number of years she was the lower elementary supervisor and program coordinator at Thrifthaven Baptist Schools in Memphis, TN where she taught K5 and 1st grade. For the last 16 years she has been the Speech Department Program Coordinator at Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wisconsin. Mrs. Rice taught a wide variety of speech and drama classes and directed major college productions. Teaching and influencing students for Christ has long been Mrs. Rice's passion, and she is thankful for the opportunity to work at Grace Academy.
